Brad has nearly a decade of experience in the solar industry. After receiving his BS degree in Industrial Technology from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Brad worked in the semi-conductor industry for more than nine years before joining PV Powered as a field engineer. A Sacramento native, Brad graduated from Jesuit High School and lives in Sacramento with his wife and two children. A few of Brad’s credentials include:

• Certified PV Installer by the North American Board of Energy Practitioners (NABCEP).
• Completed several Advanced PV Design Courses with Solar Energy International, SMUD and Brooks Engineering.
• Adjunct Professor of Solar PV Design and Engineering at American River College.
• BPI Professional Building Analyst and Envelope Specialist certified.

Josh McDonald

Josh is a professional project manager with more than 12 years of building experience, two of which are in the solar industry. Josh earned a business degree from California State University, San Luis Obispo before leading the product design and engineering department for a California-based electric vehicle manufacturer. Josh grew up in the SF Bay Area and lives in Sacramento with his wife and their two children. Josh’s credentials include:

• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• LEED™ Accredited Professional. LEED is an internationally recognized green-building organization and stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.
• BPI Professional Building Analyst and HERS certified. HERS is the Home Energy Rating System adopted by the California Energy Commission in order to accurately assess buildings for energy efficiency.

Fred Becker

Engineering Manager

Fred has over 20 years of general construction experience and is knowledgeable in all aspects of the construction process. He has completed advanced PV training programs offered through SMUD and designed over a hundred solar PV systems. Fred is responsible for many aspects of system design and installation. His knowledge of the building process ensures that building permits and inspections go smoothly and the job is completed on time. Fred served six years in the US Navy as an Electrical Technician and served in Operation Desert Storm. He lives in Fair Oaks with his wife and daughter.

Carl Marino

Carl has more than 30 years sales and management experience in the in-home sales industry. With 15 years in construction sales and 6 years in Solar. Carl brings the experience needed to help customers get happily involved in solar and saving money! Carl has over $4 million in personal sales and over $20 million in managed sales. Carl is a native of the Los Angeles are but has lived in the central valley for 35 years. He lives in West Sacramento with his wife and enjoys his grandchildren when he is not helping customers.
